Update your account details
Change your email address or name in Account settings.
Your email address
Your email is used to sign in and for messages about your account. To change it:
- Go to Account settings.
- Under Email address, enter the new address and select Send confirmation link.
- Open the email we send to the new address and follow the link within 24 hours.
Your address changes as soon as you open the link. Until then you keep signing in with the old one, and Account settings shows the change as waiting — you can Resend the link or Cancel the change there.
We also send a short heads-up to your current address. If you get one and didn't ask for a change, change your password and email [email protected].
Your name
- Go to Account settings.
- Under Profile, edit Name.
- Select Save Changes.

Signed in? Change it under Security. Forgot it? See Reset your password.
